The model expands Epson’s AM product family, incorporating the same user interface and access to the same solutions, ensuring a consistent user experience across the entire range. It also further drives the shift from laser printing to inkjet. The device offers print speeds of 100 pages per minute in both simplex and duplex, with scan speeds up to 120 images per minute. High-capacity paper trays and high-yield ink cartridges are designed to reduce user intervention while delivering a very competitive cost per page (CPP). Optional finishing and paper handling, including a stapler, hole punch, saddle stitch unit and A3 high-capacity feeder, allow a wide range of jobs to be handled by one central device. Optional SRA3 support is also available, extending media flexibility for more demanding print requirements. www.epson.co.uk WHAT’S NEW Quantum-resistant security capabilities HP has introduced a new compact A4 colour printer range designed to help small teams manage document workflows more efficiently through advanced security, simplified device management, and reliable performance. The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 4000/X400 series includes both single function and multifunction colour printers across transactional and managed configurations. The new series offers print speeds of up to 35 ppm and paper input capacity of up to 1,400 sheets. Multifunction models add copy, scan, and fax functionality, including one-pass, twosided scanning at speeds of up to 80 images per minute. The devices also include quantumresistant security capabilities and HP Wolf Security, helping organisations protect devices against evolving cyber threats through automatic self-healing. IT teams can centrally deploy, monitor, and update printers using management tools such as HP Web Jetadmin, HP Workforce Experience Platform, HP Security Manager and HP Smart Device Services. In addition, the devices are built on HP FutureSmart, providing a consistent user experience across printer fleets. Searchable PDF functionality is included as standard across all 4000/X400 models, while X400 MFPs can be equipped with optional Editable OCR, enabling scanned documents to be converted into editable Microsoft files. HP OXPd solutions also allow organisations to integrate print and scan workflows with business processes and applications directly from the device. www.hp.com Intuitive, space-saving design Canon has launched a compact, highly productive scanner designed specifically for corporate and government organisations, as well as regulated sectors such as banking, finance, healthcare and legal. The company says through its ultra-compact and narrow design, the imageFORMULA DR‑C360 features one of the smallest footprints on the market in its category. Capable of scanning at speeds of up to 120 images per minute, and equipped with a large 100-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), the imageFORMULA DR-C360 enables users to digitise higher volumes of documents efficiently, with minimal user intervention Media flexibility is also enhanced as the device is able to scan a number of different document types including passports directly, without the need for a protective carrier sheet. New, enhanced usability features include a larger display panel and physical buttons, which support easier operation, whilst setup is also simple thanks to the included USB Type-C connectivity. The scanner also comes equipped with Canon’s CaptureOnTouch Pro software, which enables users to quickly digitise paper documents – it also allows for files to be imported and then converted into various file formats using intelligent technologies such as OCR and barcode recognition. www.canon.co.uk Epson expands WorkForce range Epson’s new WorkForce WF-4930, WF‑4920/4925 and WF-3920/3925 A4 MFPs deliver fast, professional-quality printing, seamless wireless connectivity and a smarter approach to ink management through Epson’s ReadyPrint Flex subscription service, including six months of free ink for new customers.
